At last, the picture of the giveaway. It's a bunch of materials for miniatures. There are two packages of normal polymer clay, plus another one that stays flexible after baking. Lace, picot braid, oriental braid,  a piece of fabric, hat straw, and lizard paper, perfect for purses, luggagge...and without killing any lizards! and a bag of mini ice cubes.

I have decided to widen the term, so more people can join in now that you know what I'm giving, and so I can finish my on-line shop...I'm still fighting with the templates! That's what happens when you are a big fan on DIY.
So you have time until October the 23, and on the 24th I will annouce the winner.
Thanks a lot to all of you who have posted messages on the previous post. I count on you for the giveaway, and I was very happy to see some of you in person at the Fair.

Saludos y buena feria!

You already know I like magpies. They pick up treasures from trash, like us miniaturists. Smart member of the corvidae family, she can tolerate humans, and even interact with them, and she chooses a mate for life. Its sqawks and shiny feathers are part of both city and countryside landscape.

As for the acorn...they say that if you lose your origins you lose your identity. And I descend, among others, from a man who came from Extremadura with only an acorn in his pocket.
This acorn was a treasure for my grandad, and it is a treasure also for the magpie in the drawing. And I, as the magpie, have been spending years searching for materials, tools, and knowledge as a miniature artisan, and I want to share it with you in this blog...and in an on-line shop that I'm about to open.

If you register as followers during the month of September, you will enter a giveaway of a batch of products for miniatures. Those of you who are already followers, leave a message.
After the Barcelona Fair (17th   and 18th) I will post a picture of the batch.
